GBYCC Youth Blog Writer

The Georgian Bay Youth Climate Collective is currently accepting applications for Youth Blog Writers, local to the Parry Sound region, ages 12-20. We are a youth-led volunteer group that work to give voices to local youth and bring awareness to issues related to climate change and environmental discrimination. • In 1,000 words or less, write educational pieces on subjects such as local ecosystems, sustainability, and climate justice to be shared on our website.
• Choose your own topic or pick from a curated list.
• All volunteers can collect hours towards the 40 community involvement hours required to graduate high school.
• Will gain media and communication skills, and benefit their community through creating helpful, educational content.
