Help Build Something New in Our Community

7 Gens Swimming is a new not-for-profit competitive and developmental swim club serving Parry Sound and surrounding communities.

As our club gets underway, we're looking for a friendly, organized volunteer who would enjoy helping us stay connected with the community and representing 7 Gens Swimming at selected local events and opportunities.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys meeting people, making community connections and helping a new organization grow — without needing to make a large weekly time commitment.

How You Could Help

Depending on your interests and availability, you may help with:

• Attending selected community events, workshops, information sessions or networking opportunities on behalf of 7 Gens Swimming
• Representing the club at local fairs, community tables and information events
• Connecting with community organizations, volunteers and potential partners
• Helping coordinate volunteers for occasional club activities and events
• Sharing useful information and follow-up items with the club President
• Helping identify community, fundraising, sponsorship or partnership opportunities
• Supporting special club initiatives as they arise

You do not need to attend every event. Opportunities can be shared according to your interests and availability.

7 Gens Swimming is an inclusive not-for-profit swim club welcoming Indigenous and non-Indigenous swimmers and families from Parry Sound and surrounding communities.

Our goal is to build a sustainable swimming program that creates opportunities for today's swimmers while developing something meaningful for generations to come.
